ALL MULCH STORE SITES WILL BE CLOSED ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 28TH FOR THANKSGIVING.
Our sites will be open for regular business hours on Friday, November 29th and Saturday, November 30th. The Minnetrista and Shakopee sites will be closed for the winter beginning Monday, December 2.
Our administrative office will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving.
The Mulch Store a key community resource for landscaping products and other landscaping materials, many of which we create from our recycling and composting work. Many of our sites accept yard waste, wood waste and soil & sod for drop off. Click on the site nearest to you for more information about disposal.
Our Empire site accepts commercial and residential organics for recycling. Click on Organics Recycling tab at the top of the page for more information.

Emerald Ash Borer Information
The Mulch Store has four Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) certified sites to process Ash tree waste. All Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) quarantined materials (branches, limbs, stumps or yard waste mixed with brush) are required by the MDA to be taken to a certified facility. The quarantine area consists of Hennepin and Ramsey County. During the EAB flight season, brush material may NOT be removed from these counties.
